Our project also consisted of live sound components to complement our immersive soundscapes, in addition to our interactive components.
We interacted with the kids, showing them how to operate our MIDI component of our interactive design.
We also set up a "tripwire" that welcomed people to the FOH area by setting off a sound effect everyone crossed it.
Scope of Work
The project encompassed the crafting custom sound design and reinforcement, constructing interactive playgrounds using sensors, knobs, and buttons to control certain parameters on a MIDI keyboard. The objective is to trigger the audience's senses, enabling an immersive aural experience. Collaborating with OPST and three other DATM FYP teams, the team created a sensory-rich experience for special needs children as part of this year's Sensory Circus installation.
