To recreate our sound effects with absolute accuracy, our foley recording recreates sounds in the film such as chair creaks and clothes ruffling sounds.
Set up for automated dialogue replacement (ADR) for voice-over talents. We used ADR for dialogues from the voice calls, and to mimic TikTok videos. The positioning of the acoustic panels is done so that two voice actors can record simultaneously which achieves both efficiency and flow of dialogue.

On the final day of production, the teams captured the auditorium scenes at TRCC Black Box by incorporating location recording, boom, and lapel miking, culminating in a group photo featuring the talented actor, Ryan Ang.
During location recording, we tested the audio quality by reading out lines from the script and angling the Boom mic.

Scope of Work

Produced in collaboration with DMPD students for the National Youth Film Awards (NYFA), this film explores the consequences of overreliance on Artificial Intelligence in the creative industry. Complementing the abstract nature of the film, the sound design elevates the audience experience by intensifying the emotional impact, evoking feelings of anxiety, suspense, and discomfort.
