DASL Young Innovator Award

The Dormitory Association Singapore Limited (DASL) competition aims to reimagine dormitory living environments for migrant workers through advanced technology and sustainability. By understanding their unique needs, the project seeks to create personalised and empowering spaces that foster belonging and well-being. Using design thinking and user-centred strategies, the approach includes site observations, interviews, empathy maps, and user journey mapping. Iterative prototyping and usability testing ensure solutions address challenges, prioritising modular, innovative designs that enhance emotional and psychological well-being.
