This project seeks to investigate and educate Singaporeans on their susceptibility to scams in today’s digital world. It aims to highlight how easily individuals can fall victim to scams, even when aware of such risks. The initiative addresses optimism bias—the tendency to overestimate positive outcomes while underestimating negative events—commonly observed among Singaporeans. By raising awareness, the project seeks to promote vigilance and reduce vulnerability to scams.
