Production Management for The Troupe (M1 Singapore Fringe Festival 2025)

The student team took on key roles in stage management and production for The Birds Migrant Theatre, Singapore’s only migrant theatre group. Supporting the group’s mission to provide migrant workers with a platform for creativity and personal expression, the students collaborated with professional practitioners and migrant participants to bring “The Troupe” to life as part of M1 Singapore Fringe Festival 2025. Through workshops on playwriting, acting, spoken word, and physical theatre, the group empowered migrants to develop their artistic voices and stage original plays. “The Troupe” was their most ambitious production, aiming to share migrant experiences and raise awareness of both personal and global issues.
