In His Shadow

This documentary-style short film follows the journey of a mother and her son with autism, shedding light on the often-overlooked challenges, joys, and societal stereotypes faced by mothers of special needs children. Through intimate interviews, it celebrates their resilience and sacrifices, showing gratitude and amplifying their voices. A cross-diploma collaboration with the Diploma of Sonic Arts (DSA), the project features professional sound recording, audio mixing, and post-production, creating a heartfelt tribute to the enduring bond between mother and child.
