Our final-year project centred on production management for After Rain, We Breathe, a physical theatre work exploring emotional and unseen pain through movement and humour. Integrating scientific concepts of pain perception and rehabilitation within an artistic framework, the interdisciplinary production featured performers aged 20 to 85.
Working closely with the Artistic Director, we ensured cohesive execution by coordinating rehearsals, documenting artistic cues, managing technical and front-of-house operations, and maintaining clear cross-department communication. We prioritised cast wellbeing while overseeing volunteer management and show operations, and led marketing content to expand audience outreach. The production was successfully staged at the Black Box, 42 Waterloo Street.
