Documenting Singapore’s Living Heritage – Designated Heritage Business
Our Project
Our project is a social media campaign that supports National Heritage Board (NHB)’s SG Heritage Business Scheme. We selected two businesses (Tai Chong Kok, a traditional Cantonese pastry business, and Prince Coffee House, a Hainanese-Western fusion restaurant), and produced 2 videos and designed 4 posts for each. In our content, we hoped to showcase each business’s unique identities and place in Singapore’s heritage and culture - highlighting their impact on the community, their history and legacy, and their artistry and craft. We aimed to urge and encourage viewers to explore, support and connect with these places before they’re gone.
