This project seeks to enhance the usability of OpenLCA, a sustainability and life cycle assessment software known for its complexity. The approach was to simplify and streamline the interface and features to ease data entry. The team sought to democratize access to sustainability tools, making them user-friendly for experts and the public alike. The redesigned OpenLCA functions as a practical tool and educational aid, enabling individuals to participate in sustainability initiatives regardless of domain knowledge. This initiative contributes to advancing environmental stewardship and nurturing a more sustainable future.
